Crispy. Golden.
Worth the drive.

Hand-battered pollock, fresh-cut chips and proper poutine — from our truck behind the garage at 111 Toronto Rd, Flesherton.

Our Story

Battered by hand. Every order.

Sammies started as a roadside fix for the best fish and chips in Grey Highlands — affordable, generous, and made the way it should be. Fresh pollock, a batter we mix ourselves, chips cut from whole potatoes. Made by a former Riverside cook.

Fish & Chips

Our favourite.

Hand-battered pollock, golden and crispy, served with fresh-cut chips and a side of tartar sauce. Made to order every time.

Loved by the locals.

A fresh selection every week

Drove out from Owen Sound just for these fish and chips and it was 100% worth the trip. The poutine is incredible too — proper curds and rich gravy.

A hidden gem behind the garage. Cozy picnic table spot, friendly owners, and the food is honestly some of the best I've ever had from a truck.

We come back every time we pass through Flesherton. The fish is always perfectly fried and the chips are golden. Can't recommend Sammies enough.
